For S.P. Green & Co. Ltd to be interested in buying your diamonds, they must be CERTIFICATED.
As members of the National Association of Goldsmiths, you can be assured that we will offer you the very best advice regarding your precious diamonds and in turn, offer you a very competitive price. As a matter of course, our in house diamond graders and experts will verify the authenticity and quality of any diamonds before we purchase them. The terms of purchase are as follows:
We will only buy natural diamonds and diamonds that are sourced and supplied in accordance with the Kimberley process.
The diamonds we are willing to purchase must be certificated by one of the established independent diamond laboratories. These include:
GIA - Gemmological Institute of America
IGI - International Gemmological Institute
HRD - HRD Antwerp
For others, please contact us first to establish whether we would accept them.
The diamonds we buy must be accompanied by their original diamond certificate. Valuation certificates will not be accepted.
We will also buy gold and platinum as part of the setting if the diamonds are set in jewellery.
S.P. Green & Co. Ltd will not purchase any diamonds which fit into the following criteria:
- The diamond has been artificially clarity enhanced
- The diamond has been laser drilled
- The diamond has been colour treated
- The diamond clarity is below I2
- The diamond contains large black inclusions that are visible to the eye.
